Advent Calendar Photos

Last weeks Advent Calendar class with Carmel was a big HIT!! We had a SOLD OUT class, even a visitor all the way from Texas. Everyone had a great time, here are some photos I'd like to share.

We've got another talented instructor joining us at Pineapple Cove...please welcome Edie Libby to the Cove Family! She will be here on Saturday November 20th from 2pm - 3:30pm for this Tissue Box Cover using the Hello Kitty Reindeer stamp set by PSA.

Sharing some adorable RAKs from friends recently...mahalo for all the yummy goodies. Just LOVE the packaging!!

This one's from the g/f Kim...she made the yummy candy apple. I have to admit, I've never eaten candy apple before. How do you even start? Yum!! Thanks Kim!























Next one is from Leslie...candy corn! I love that she altered a zip lock container. So cute with the ric-rak ribbon & ruffleles underneath the lid that isn't showing too well in the pix. Love it Les!!























Claudie gave me this adorable bath set...it's too pretty to open & use. I think she used Mango Luau DP..love the colors...oh, it's our Pineapple Cove colors. I'll share the mini album she made to go with the gift set in another post. Thanks Claudie..I'm really going to miss you!!

Advent Calendar Class

Counting down the days until Christmas will be a pure joy with this beautiful & creative Advent Calendar. We're excited here at Pineapple Cove to welcome Carmel Yee to our growing family. Her creativity and warm heart is a great addition to our team. She will be teaching this wonderful Advent Calendar class on Sunday, November 7th from 1:30 - 3:30.

Using a petal punch and some embellies, Carmel turned this plain frame into a beautiful piece of art! In this class, she will guide you through the process of creating this truly artistic and interactive holiday decoration.

Seating is limited, and we expect this class to sell out quickly!! So sign up early by calling 735-3553. Cost of the class is $25 and will include everything for you to complete this calendar. Please note: DP used for class will differ and vary from the images below. Supplies you need to bring will be scissors and adhesive (double sided tape and 3D Foam).

"Gorjuss" Calendar by UDT Jen Young

We've got exciting news to share!! Here at Pineapple Cove, we are very privileged to have the talented, funny, and lovable Cricut Queen herself, Jen Young from Pieces of Me join our "unoffical" DT. Thanks Jen for all the love and support! You are such a sunshine to be around, we're so honored to be able to showcase your amazing projects to help inspire our crafty addiction.

We hope to develop some form of Design Team in the near future...something to look forward to in the new year. So in the meantime, Jen will be inspiring all of us alongside Claudette (Islander Girl Stampin) and Leslie (JC&me), with all their paper goodness on our UDT. =)

So without further adieu....here's Jen's first piece of work for PC. A very "gorjuss" coaster calendar.




















Love the Gorjuss Girl stamp called "Flower Girl" that she used in this project. They are so quick and easy to color with your copics...we've only got a few Gorjuss stamps left at Pineapple Cove, so be sure to come snatch them before they are gone!

These coaster calendars make great gifts for the upcoming holidays. We've got both the square & rectangle heavy weight coasters in stock at the store & online, so stock up and start early on your holiday projects. Coaster classes will be added soon to the class schedule.

The pretty yellow & gray DP is from Pink Paislee's "Queen Bee" paper pad. Jen also used some Smooch Ink from Stampin' Up! and embellies from her own stash. With her busy schedule, Jen also squeezes in time to be a Stampin' Up demonstrator. So if you ever have any questions or needs regarding Stampin' Up supplies, feel free to shoot her a line.

Beautiful Card

Claudette made us another amazing sample using two new Nestabilities die: Curved Rectangles and Eyelet Circles.

The pretty DP is another Cosmo Cricket "Togetherness" paper. I just LOVE this collection...their DP is double-sided and very thick. BOTH sides of the patterns are gorgeous, the only problem you'll have with Cosmo's DP is choosing which side to use.

We love her coloring, and if you want to learn some of her techniques, join us for a Copic Hair coloring class on Saturday Oct. 3rd. We still have some seats available.

Here's another card she made with more of the Cosmo "Togetherness" DP. The curvy label used in this card is from Nestabilities new Labels Fourteen die. All of which is in-stock and available at Pineapple Cove. These items will be uploaded to the webstore soon.
