Masquerade Ball

Need favors for a party or upcoming graduation? We have an array of die cut favor boxes for every occasion! Here, we were asked to create custom favors for a Sweet 16 Masquerade Ball.

A few months ago, Victor attended a Baby's 1st Birthday and they had these cute little sour cream boxes as their favors. I thought it was such a cute idea, I used the concept to design these for a customer.

Her colors were Red & Gold, so we went with a red damask background.

Masquerade masks were distributed throughout, creating a beautiful array of colors and designs.

Each side of the sour cream box can be customized with photos and a message.

This one was my favorite mask. I hope she likes it!

We can assemble these for you, simply drop off the contents you wish to fill the box. I'll have some graduation samples to post at a later time.

Happy Crafting!

Easel Card Class + Bonus Basket

Sally's back again this month to teach a class on creating the Easel Box. The easel card is such a fun and versatile technique - this time we'll be adding on a box that will make a great desktop organizer.

We'll be turning the organizer into a mini calendar with the cute Little Goth Girl from Gorjuss Girls. This was my very first Gorjuss Girls and my attempt at coloring hair with copic markers, oh how I love both!! Thanks Claudie for teaching me how to color black hair! The two larger scalloped squares are from the new Spellbinder nestabilities that were recently released. The calendar was printed of the computer and punched out with the Marvy scalloped square.

In addition, there will be a bonus project that you can use for the upcoming Mother's Day or Graduation season.

Join us on Sunday for this class!!

Instructor: Sally P.
Date & Time: Sunday April 11 @ 1:00-2:30
Fee: $15

Please call to reserve your seat - 735-3553!

Paper Flowers!

Paper flowers are popping up everywhere, even at Pineapple Cove!! Kahala Mall had a fashion show last weekend, and we were commissioned to come up with something for the show. Since the fashion show was showcasing a lot of the clothing from the boutiques downstairs, I thought it would be nice to make some paper flowers to help accessorize the outfits walking down the runway. So I came up with these paper flower pins for the girls to accessorize with.

This is a set of chrysanthemum flowers I cut with my Craft Robo. I cut 5 different layers, then glazed them with Ultra Thick Emobssing Enamel (thanks Annie for turning me onto this amazing product!) I simply used the wooden end of a small paint brush to curl the edges. The pink one is my favorite!

Next is a pair of roses. I cut strips of some of my scrap DP, crinckled up the paper by scrunching it up in my hand. Then wrapping it around in a circle. I punched a little circle as the backing to adhere the rosebuds on with hot glue.

Lastly, these may look a little familiar to you. Remember my dress form that I covered with flowers? I simply took 3 flowers to make this bunch and added a Kaisercraft rhinestone in the middle.

All three projects were super easy and I loved the fact that I was able to use up my scraps!! I'll have more paper flower projects to share in the near future.

Happy Crafting!!
