Designer Bags

Get yourself a designer bag without breaking the bank....

Had a fun day with the girls today teaching them how to make these designer knock-offs! They look good in any color or pattern. These adorable bags were designed by Becky Roberts, she has a set of 3 designer bag tutorials for sale on her site, go check it out! She does amazing work!! Thanks so much Becky for all your inspiration, love your blog!!

We used the L.A.M.B. inspired handbag to make these "Louis". We will be offering this handbag, along with 2 others as classes in August. I will be updating the calendar soon for the dates & times.

Make a wish...

Close your eyes and make a wish!

You can never have enough birthday cards in your stash. Here's an adorable cutie from C.C. Designs Fairytale collection called Birthday Belle.

Claudette used a technique called "masking" so that Belle is sitting on top of the tree trunk. Doesn't the cupcake look delicious..good enough to eat!

The designer paper is from Kaisercraft called Hey Birdie. You can get them as individual 12x12 sheets, or in a 6x6 paper pad.

Here's a side view of the card so you can see the 3D element she added for the cupcakes and mushrooms. This little detail adds a great dimension to your cards.

Thanks Claudette for yet another beautiful creation!

A Little Birdie Told Me...

Kaisercrafts' Hey Birdie collection is so cheerful and bright! Check out this card designed by Fuji Murakami. She used the DP, rub-on and acrylic stamp from the set.

The one thing..and there's many... I LOVE about Kaisercraft is how they coordinate each collection with matching double-sided quality DP, rub-ons and embellies. This makes it so easy to just create and not have to fuss over trying to match your paper with the right embellishments.

You can't tell in the photo, but behind the scallop circles is a small thin magnet hidden behind the dp, allowing the scallops to clasp to the card. I just love this added touch. And the magnet is so thin, you don't even know it's there.

Here is what the card looks like opened. Plenty of room for a special note, a gift card, or just the right sentiment.

Happy 4th of July!

Happy 4th of July! Wishing you all a safe & fun weekend with your friends and family.

We will be open on Sunday from 10am - 5pm and Monday from 10am - 5pm. Normal business hours will resume on Tuesday July 6th.

Here's a card Claudette made using Kaisercraft DP and Cheeky Mate from TGF.

I'm always in awe of her amazing coloring...the colors just pop off the paper! And I love that it's a non-traditional scallop circle card. I will have to try one of these soon.

We're working out some copic coloring classes with Claudette for this month. Please comment or email me to let me know if you'd be interested in attending a weekday class on copic coloring techniques for the month of July.
